Brooke featured on compilation episode of Home & Garden Channel's,
Look What I Did!

Ok, can I just say that this is not one of the better ones - but hopefully still entertaining never-the-less. They featured my lovely husband and I for their makeover show, however we ended up looking quite goofy.
I guess that's entertainment for ya!

I had completely renovated our kitchen by:

• tearing up the old tile floor and installing a new one with mosaic tile accents
• completely refinishing the cabinetry to a dark chestnut finish
• tearing up our old tile counters and laying a subbase for the new solid-surface granite counter
• installing a new metallic backsplash (4x4 tiles on bias)
• installing new pendant lighting and new can lighting
• tearing out the old florescent lights and installing a new cable lighting system
• and converting a few of our cabinets into a pull-out trash and a pull-out spice cabinet.

The show tried to recreate the process and I guess it did that ok, but I did feel like a total goofball. Alas, it was another opportunity to show off my work - which I do enjoy.

Can I just say I was happy to have Dave on camera with me at least so that he could feel as silly as I did!
